However, the totem does not itself have your stats, so does not benefit from your defensive passives - only the spells cast by the totem get your stats, because they're your spells, just cast via the totem.. Totems are not minions, and work completely differently A totem does not have skills of it's own, but uses your skills.. The only passives that can affect minions are the ones which give you a bonus that explicitly modifies your minions.
